Starting at the Korean War Memorial in Downtown Dayton, follow the bike path to the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force and National Aviation Hall of Fame. From there, travel through the hometown of Dr. Lewis A. Jackson in Xenia, OH. Dr. Jackson was appointed Director of Training at the Army Air Corps 66th Flight Training Detachment where he prepared the “Tuskegee Airmen.” After that, head north to Urbana and finish at Grimes Flying Lab and the Champaign Aviation Museum where a B-17 is being fully restored to flying condition.
